If anything else could go wrong, I now have a hard disk failure. Replaced and rebuilding prototype... good news is that checking my directions for installation should be a snap.

since my last post. I went on vacation, came back, and have had one thing after another come up. I was able to get the screen in my car for testing and PowerStrip didn't go quite as planned to get the proper resolution. It was my own fault and I'm hoping to get a chance this weekend to fix it. I'll post when I get my next chance.

Fixed a minor problem with the Train button which I didn't foresee while testing without the touchscreen. As for development, I'm quite pleased with how I have everything set. Development Tip: My video card has a DVI and VGA for dual displays. I have a flat panel being used over DVI and the touchscreen on VGA. From there, I set it up so that the VGA is the primary display and expand my desktop to the flat panel. By moving my development tools over to the Secondary Display, I make changes to the code and do a build, which I can then execute on the touchscreen. Any changes can be done very rapidly.

I was quite pleased with how it's working on the TouchScreen. A few tweaks will need to be made, but overall not bad. A picture and video have been added to show off the work.

I will be getting the new display shortly and final testing will be done. Looking forward to releasing the Beta and hope you are looking forward to it too. Working on pinning down all System Requirements, which will be posted soon.

Once another arrives I'll be able to test out the interface. Changes have been made to the download section of the site. Preparing for technical beta launch. More details will be available soon.

I have purchased a Lilliput 7" 629GL-70NP. Last bit of testing will be done once it arrives.

Screen Frontend for 800 x 480 is almost completed.

A Slider has been added in order to move forward and backwards thru a song very quickly. This will be the last feature before the Beta is released.

Buttons have been added to get thru the Options/Playlist lists quickly. Changing the UI a bit today and planning on purchasing a touchscreen because I would prefer to use the software now outside of a headless config. This will also help with software testing and development.
